126　busy, be busy in, be busy with和be busy doing sth.

1　busy 用作形容詞表示“忙，忙的”。

The farmers are very busy in autumn. 秋天農民很忙。

Are you busy now? 你現(xiàn)在忙嗎？

2　be busy in 和be busy with 均表示“忙于……”，但其后接的詞不同：

（1） be busy in+動名詞，in可省略，為be busy (in) doing sth.

We are busy (in) getting ready for the final exam. 我們都忙著準備期末考試。

She was busy looking after her little sister. 她正忙著照看小妹妹。

（2）be busy with+名詞

The students are all busy with their lessons. 學生們都在忙功課。

He is busy with his work from morning till night. 他從早到晚忙著工作。

①不可說be busy to do sth.。

She is busy studying . （正）她正忙著學習。

She is busy with her study . （正）

She is busy to study . （誤）

② busy構成的短語還有：busy over+名詞，busy oneself in/with doing （使自己忙于……）。

They are busy over the arrangement. 他們正忙著安排事宜。

He busied himself in/with answering letters. 他忙著回復信件。
