meeting的用法及相關(guān)搭配（at the meeting與in the meeting）

1. 表示“會(huì)議”“集會(huì)”，是可數(shù)名詞；表示“在會(huì)上”，通常與介詞at搭配。如：

They made jokes at what he said at the meeting. 他們拿他在會(huì)上講的話開玩笑。

I can take your place at the meeting tomorrow if necessary. 如果必要的話明天我可以代替你去開會(huì)。

有時(shí)也用介詞 in。如：

Prepare what you plan to say in the meeting ahead of time. 提前準(zhǔn)備好你在會(huì)上打算說些什么。

Tim really annoyed me in the meeting this morning. 在今天上午的會(huì)議上，蒂姆著實(shí)惹惱了我。

2. 一般不用來表示“晚會(huì)”，此時(shí)可用party。如：

We enjoyed ourselves at the party. 在晚會(huì)上我們很開心。

有時(shí)也用evening表示“晚會(huì)”，但其前通常會(huì)有一個(gè)描繪性定語。如：

A theatre evening has been arranged. 已安排好一個(gè)戲劇晚會(huì)。
