　　又如動詞total它除了與漢語“總數達……”、“合計”等詞義對應外，還有：

　　1)to wreck beyond repire徹底撞毀

　　2)to get even with同……作清算;向……報復

　　Did you at least total the guy that hit you?

　　對那個揍你的家伙，你至少已經向他報復了吧?
