2. 英語(yǔ)中有些詞在特定的上下文中，其含義是清楚的，但譯成漢語(yǔ)時(shí)還必須作具體化的引申，否則就不夠清楚。

1) The car in front of me stalled and I missed the green.

我前頭的那輛車停住了，我錯(cuò)過了綠燈。

2) Jewish-owned shops were shut down. Swastikas replaced six-pointed stars. The walls of anti-Semitism were closing in.

猶太人的鋪?zhàn)雨P(guān)閉了。卐字旗取代了六角星旗。反猶太主義的包圍圈一天緊似一天。
